​​SAF Australia have been building microwave networks for Local Government, particularly regional councils, since 2006.

Our main office is located in Albury, NSW reflecting this regional focus. We understand the challenges of supporting critical networks outside the main city centres, and we have vast experience in delivering high quality, reliable and cost-effective solutions.

Our services include:

• site surveys and LOS surveys (typically free of charge)
• design of private point-to-point microwave radio networks
• frequency planning and ACMA spectrum licensing
• supply and installation of radio equipment as well as all related accessories
• tower design and installation
• project management
• ongoing support and maintenance, including dedicated spares and remote monitoring
• equipment lease and financing

Where possible we cooperate with local companies to provide level 1 and 2 support for fastest possible response times for the councils and to support local business.

Our products cover a vast range of licensed as well as class licensed 24GHz microwave radio equipment. Licensed frequency bands include 400MHz, 500MHz, 1.5, 3.8, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 18, 22(23), 28 and 38GHz.

SAF equipment offers carrier-grade quality (radios designed and manufactured in the EU), very fast data speeds of up to 883Mbps full-duplex per radio (that`s 883Mbps in each direction of transmission), and it comes with local support you can depend on.

One of our most recent products can even provide up to 10Gbps full-duplex data speeds in the 70/80 GHz frequency band.
